I meant to post this for Asexual Awareness Week, but I really wasn’t in a space for writing, so I put it off. The week then ended, but I’m deciding to post it anyway.

This was prompted by a space I joined recently, which was an LGBTQ space which welcomes and had sections/groups/chats for LGBT & Q(uestioning) folks, for straight allies… but not for Ace or Aro (or Intersex) folks.

So I wrote this for Ace Awareness week, kindv as an informative/educational tool for that space, and in general.

Why I Became a Photographer

Photography was never my goal. It never made my childhood (or teen) list of "When I grow up I want to be..." or even crossed my mind at all. But then life happened, and it became my life calling. Not so much the taking photos, but what impact I can have on peoples' lives with it. I have never really talked about WHY I do this, but it's really important, so it's time to share.
